Hi SLW. If nothing else this election has finally drawn the line between Liberal,Socialist ideas and Conservatism like no other . To not be excited about it would be a sad thing indeed.

Thanks again. SR and I saw McCain and Palin at the rally in STL area Sunday. It was so hot that I thought I was getting heatstroke. Luckily we were able to get in the VIP area, as my daughter in law and son were with us. She's having a baby in December, so we got to sit in an area with actual chairs with cushions and an awning on top.

Read it carefully, I'm going to be a grandmother. Yay!

It's just soooo good to see everyone. Wretch, how are you doing?

And how can I get rid of this avatar? I never was too adept at the avatar thing. Don't know how I got the one that's on there now. Is it some sort of default?

SLW, sorry to hear about the health issues.

I had the sleep study ten years ago, and could not sleep during it!

I found the breathing masks unable to work for me as I would wake up with allergy related sinus congestion and I would be gasping for air. Which would cause more sleep interuptions.

So now, I just deal with it.

Just last Friday, a medical doctor mentioned the words "sleep apnea" to me...then asked "who I had for insurance" all without taking a breath...LOL

Hello, there!  Count me as another one who CAN'T FREAKIN' WAIT for November to get here... although I admit I'm a little worried about the pestilence Obama has planned for mankind when he's defeated.  He is a jealous God, after all.

I'm doing well, SLW.  my biggest problem today is that we are going to have the wrong kind of a hurricane for happy hour. :-)

sorry to hear that you are having health issues :( , but thrilled that you are going to be a grandmother :)

Thanks so much. Now I really feel at home, with Blue's face staring at me. Blue is so much cuter than the Caveman.  :-)

I'm so tired I'm afraid I'm about to fall off the chair. I'm in a corner cubicle---no one would probably notice. Being all wired is not exactly conducive to sleeping well. The technician probably was wondering, but I insisted on watching the convention, of course requesting Fox. I fell asleep to McCain's talk, but woke up for the end, which was really good.

Rob, I've been using a CPAP machine since last December.  I occasionally wake up with sinus congestion and sleeping with a mask took some getting used to at first but now I wouldn't do without it.  I started with a full mask and hated it because it leaked out of the sides.  I switched to a mask that only covers my nose and it's been great ever since.

Sleep Apnea can kill you in different ways.  You can't possibly be enjoying the quality of life you could if you were sleeping the way you should be.

I watched a good bit of PMSNBC this week, especially for Sarah Palin's speech.  I got a sadistic thrill out of watching them have to deal with that incredible speech that she delivered.    :evillaugh:

Wasn't her speech fantastic? I'll try to see if I can post some pics later that SR took at the McCain/Palin rally in STL Sunday. She really looked beautiful with her hair down. Everyone was so enthusiastic about her.

Rob, try this one...

http://nomask.com/

Really man, sleep apnea can kill you.

That looks interesting.

I am Blessed to have a job with very, very good insurance, that has zero exclusions for pre-exisiting conditons.

$0 Deductable.

But, I am still not used to things out here in the desert, yesterday I noticed the sleep lab is in a double wide.  :-)  I am serious, so if I do anything about it, I am sure I will head to Vegas.

(Well it was a modular type building....but still, LOL)

Yes, there would be health benefits.

I took a pretty nasty back and neck injury in Jan....so the issues from that, already interupt my sleep, I am up and down quite a bit at night, moving from the chair, recliner and bed, and not necessarily in that order!

Do they have a wireless CPAP??   :banghead:

Rebel, it indeed would be a big hurricane to go as far north where ASDF is. But currently he's in Baton Rouge, helping with disaster relief. I'm hoping Hurrricane Ike doesn't hit Baton Rouge again.

Speaking of hurricanes, is it killing SR to be stuck in the middle of the country this season?  :-)
