FBI says paying for your morning coffee with cash a potential terrorist activity, urges coffee shop owners to report cash-paying customers to authorities

Wednesday, February 08, 2012 by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) Purchasing a cup of coffee using cash instead of a credit or debit card, using Google Maps to view photos of sporting event stadiums and large cities, and installing software to protect your internet privacy on your mobile phone -- these and many other mundane activities are now considered to be potential terrorist activities by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). And the agency is now distributing a new series of flyers as part of its new "Communities Against Terrorism" (CAT) program that urges shop owners and others to report such "suspicious" activity to authorities.

(snip)

This little gem warns internet cafe owners to watch out for and report customers that always pay for their coffee with cash, as they could be terrorists (http://info.publicintelligence.net). Another ridiculous flyer intended for owners of boat shops warns them to be on the lookout for people interested in becoming certified scuba divers, as they could be terrorists (http://info.publicintelligence.net).

Paying cash for a cup of coffee? WTF?

And I post on conservative message boards.

It appears that Uncle Sam is now getting a kickback from all those debit card fees?  Why else would they want everyone to pay for things like coffee with plastic?

The following collection of 25 flyers produced by the FBI and the Department of Justice are distributed to local businesses in a variety of industries to promote suspicious activity reporting. The flyers are not released publicly, though several have been published in the past by news media and various law enforcement agencies around the country.  We have compiled this collection from a number of online sources.

I almost always try to use cash when I'm buying something that is less than $10, as I would hate for the store owner to lose out on making money due to credit and debit card fees.  Plus, that usually gives me a bit a change to drop in the tip jar.

Do you ever go by "Akbar al-Hundley?"  DHS would give you a clean bill of health on that one.

ï‚· Always pay cash or use credit card(s) in different name(s)
ï‚· Apparently use tradecraft: lookout, blocker or someone to distract employees
ï‚· Act nervous or suspicious behavior inconsistent with activities

"Regardless" of where the story came from, or whoever thinks it's just a conspiracy theory, it is, in fact, true.

Quote
According to the new DHS report, the following are some of the beliefs and ideologies of American terrorists....

-"fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation)"

-"anti-global"

-"suspicious of centralized federal authority"

-"reverent of individual liberty"

-"believe in conspiracy theories"

-"a belief that one’s personal and/or national “way of life” is under attack"

-"a belief in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism"

-"impose strict religious tenets or laws on society (fundamentalists)"

-"insert religion into the political sphere"

-"those who seek to politicize religion"

-"supported political movements for autonomy"

-"anti-abortion"

-"anti-Catholic"

-"anti-nuclear"

...

In 2012, the following activities are considered to be "suspicious" by the FBI....

-shielding your computer screen from others

-paying with cash

-acting "nervous"

-using multiple cell phones

-requesting a specific room at a hotel

-traveling with a large amount of luggage

-refusing maid service at a hotel

-staying in your room for too long

-changing your appearance

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. WTF?  I hate when maids come in the room, usually if I am somewhere on business I put the DND sign up.  Staying in room too long?  And I just shaved my beard...

Say it like Robert Deniro, in, "Taxicab Driver".
