Title: The Sims
Post by: Revolution on October 16, 2012, 05:55:21 PM
Anyone ever play it? I have the "Nightlife" edition. Going down the career to be a superstar athlete, and not doing bad either. However, the cool ass part is that I am going out with a 5 star celeb singer chick. We're in a good relationship, and if I pop the question, I'm going to change my last name, and move into her mansion. :naughty: I'm a gold digger in the game.  :lmao:

I love Sims 3. I used to design houses for a few friends that did machinima. One house took 6 hours.

My favorite sim was a guy named Juan Picante, looked like he was from Miami Vice. Was an Evil Mastermind, had a big mansion, raced horses, owned a night club and a few venues in town. Good times.

Once I get that 5 star celeb chick, I'm thinking of buying one of those upper echelon night clubs, and bringing in revenue that way.

Even you can play our Confounder in Chief in the Sims. What will you do?

One of the problems I have with Sims 3 mods is that its all... flamboyant. not a lot of classy attire. It's why most of my Sims walk around in leisure suits.

I still have Sims 2.  I don't play it much.  I hate getting old and dying.  It takes the fun out of the game.

Does the Sims run in real-time, or can you accelerate the progress of the game?  What if I wanted to convert a capitalist society into a communist oligarchy just to watch how the characters would handle the change to the system.  Can I use it to create a virtual DUmmyland?

You can accelerate time. No you cannot change the political system. There really isn't one. But I do believe that if you are "Leader of the Free World" in  the Sims 3 you can use an action called "Take it Easy". Your sim won't work as hard. So its pretty close to the real thing.

:lmao: Didn't even know that. Never made it that far. My sim is a 2 star celeb, btw. No way he'd get to go to the White Hut, and meet Obumble...:(
