Reading another topic on the TV series where Satan looks like Obama I am left wondering who or what is Satan.
We know Satan had been with us from the beginning of time.
First in the form of a snake, and today in human form.
I am curious if the man form even knows they are Satan??
The best intentions lead to the road to Hell, some of the most wicked people I have known had no idea their actions were evil. They had good intentions to do the things they felt good about but never took into consideration that their actions caused grief for those they wanted to help.
According to the Bible Satan will come to the world as it was known at that time as a peace maker, a ray of light to those in THAT area. Will this peace maker with good intentions cause havoc and blood shed they had no intention of causing ???
Could it be that we know the evil people but the real evil is those that place themselves as good people and do the most damage. ??

To answer one of your questions, Satan was an Angel of God - a favorite Angel - until he (Satan) decided he was a god too.

Being an Angel I would imagine Lucifer would be very beautiful since he was an angel. He was meant to be in the throne room with God.

Well we do know Satan and God were Buddy's of a sort, even to gambling together at least in the case of Job. Just because God kicked Satan out of heaven his home does not mean they did not get together a time or two either in heaven or hell or on neutral territory to have a talk on this or that.
Very strange relationship God and Satan have had. Kind of like a young up start son that wants to get the best of his father and out do him. However the father still loves his son regardless.
I fear not Satan himself it is the good and honest people that become corrupted by him never realising who their Master is. They go through life not realising they are doing the Devils work, devious son of a gun Lucifer is controlling them.
Someone up stream said that Islam is the devil. Perhaps, My faith says when a faith in God causes harm to humans they would be better off with no faith.
Islam is not so much a faith as a political power from its man made invention to controll the populace. We have free will but not so those of Islam.
Carrots, beauty is in the mind of humans, few animals find beauty in a sun rise or sun set. God and Mother Earth make the beauty only we humans Ohh and AHH at.
Interesting study that of God and Satan, We ask where did God come from and ask Who will be Satan on earth. Could it be Satan has all ways been here we just do not recognise him/or her with out wearing a blue dress ???

One of Gods most beautiful angels too. He was also called "The Morning Star" ,"The light bringer" or "Son of the dawn". Always confused me why he was given such beautiful names when he represents our darker nature.Until I read up a bit! :-)

Yes. Evil is not a 'thing' as everything has been created by God and evil cannot come from God - evil is the privation of good. So said S. Thomas Aquinas...and he's good enough for me.

I'm not a religious person, but I seem to recall some story or fable about Lucifer being made horrific looking because his inner jealousies or what have you were made to manifest themselves on his body.
