Title: New household appliance
Post by: LC EFA on October 14, 2012, 10:57:33 PM
I got a hold of a new toy today.

Needs some work - and some routine maintenance, but that gives me a project.

Now I can compete in the generator noise wars with my neighbour next time the power goes out.  :-)

Diesel site welder and power-plant. Well more power than I can use.

Also "somewhat" larger then my neighbours puny little 6KVA set.

Gas or stick?

DC stick - It has a AC mode for welding but I've been cautioned not to use it as I don't know what I'm doing with it.

Has 240V AC supply outlets for devices.
