Strictly speaking, Trump is taking credit for UNdoing Obama's work. Obama kept the US economy tied in knots for 8 years, and Trump undid Obama's knots, the regulatory ones first, then the tax code knots.

From a certain perspective, Obama can be credited with the surge in the economy. If he hadn't done everything in his power to ruin the economy then Trump wouldn't have had so much to do when it came to fixing it.

The night Obimbo was elected, the economy went from struggling to dying, and began a four-month nosedive, most of his first term 'Recovery' was bringing it back to where it was on the first Monday in November 2008.  The night Trump was elected, it took off like a rocket and has only kept going.

Not hard to figure that one out.

They didn't have a problem with Obama taking credit for W's work. He bragged about giving the order to take out Osama bin Laden (Conveniently failing to mention that, after learning of bin Laden's location, he waited over 18 hours to give the order to take him out, he considered playing a few rounds of golf to be a higher priority that eliminating the terrorist who orchestrated the deaths of thousands of American citizens), yet bin Laden would never have been found were it not for the intelligence- gathering methods first developed and carried out during the Bush Administration, which he and the other Dems openly opposed.

I was driving around in a 99 jimmy at the time. The thing was partially wrecked but mechanically tip top. The local chevy dealer wouldnt budge on a c4c olds bravada somebody traded in. Very upsetting.
