So you're Welsh, and an enthusiastic singer.

In my own family tree, I'd always hoped I was Welsh, mostly because my paternal ancestors seemed always to prefer Welsh first names.  It was a sore surprise to me when through one of those popular DNA tests, I was found to be 49% Scots and only 2% Welsh.  (That was on my father's side; my mother's side was mostly Saxon--the old Saxony, not the current one--and Carpathian (33%, Vlad the Impaler ostensibly having been one of my distant ancestors).

The Welsh are dubbed the most musical people in the world.  Everybody sings in Wales.  No one in Wales lives more than a fifteen-minute walk to a choir of some sort, choirs there being informal and amateur.  The largest single choir in the world is in Wales, but I hesitate to try to spell its name.

Ha! Ha! Lucky for you he was a "distant" ancestor  ...

Am almost sure, my mother-in-law must  have been related to him as well.  :-) 

I could go on & on about  her, but had better not!
