Right now we are in the Extreme Gush stage of mainstream media coverage of the impeachment trial in the Senate. That will change after today because the White House defense team will now be making their case to the Senate. We had a sneak peak at the drastic change in MSM attitude that is about to happen when George Stephanopoulos got caught giving the signal to cut off White House lawyer Jay Sekulow. It will be interesting to contrast the MSM gush, as exemplified by Norah O'Donnell, with her upcoming attitude toward the White House Defense Team.

The WH impeachment response will get little coverage. China, Kobe and rocket strikes in Baghdad will push it to a brief mention in the evening news if at all.
