Thank you, Mr. Mann! I think I need to up my post count so I can see this magical place. ;)

I think you need 100 posts, then it's off to the Fight Club! The gloves come off and there is usually blood spattered on the walls before it's over. Either that or Mr. Mannn administers last rites to the fallen.

Is their an open bar though?

I mean, really, let's get down to the brass tacks here. If there isn't an open bar, I'm not sure I'll be interested.

The most heated argument I have ever seen was regarding food.  Let's just say we take our chili VERY seriously here.   :whatever:
R.I.P. LC and Crockspot.  Miss you guys.

I judge a chili contest every year and last year it ended up in a near riot because one of the contestants submitted white chili with chicken. It happened to be fantastic and she won the competition. That reminds me, she still hasn't shared that recipe with me. Darnit!

This year the coordinators specified red chili only. We take that stuff pretty serious in Kansas too. :)

Yesterday afternoon, she won with her red chili too. I wonder what the complainers will say now.

Well, it sorta depends on what you mean by "open bar."

If you mean there are bars through which you can rattle your tin cup in preparation for your daily bread and water ration, yes.

If you mean there is a place where you can go to drink adult beverages and have somebody else pay for it, the OWS crowd is that way ------------------------>

But wouldn't the OWS crowd be

<--------------------------------- that way?

A cash bar will do. I rarely have to buy a drink when I go out anyway. :)

Well, the OWS crowd wouldn't be stage right, because they've been ousted from that area.

And their feelings were hurt in the process, apparently.  :whatever:

If you rarely have to buy a drink when you go out, whaddya normally drink? Do they give it away?   :cheersmate:

This wouldn't be true. I live in Kansas. Even the ugliest of women get drinks bought for them at a bar. Have you been here? If you have boobs, you can drink. For free.

I'm no looker, gents. I'm just a plain Jane, Kansas girl with a warm smile and a sense of humor. Sorry to disappoint!

Wait! There's such a thing as a hot Conservative woman? Please explain. I thought we were all tobacco chewin', hillbilly Christians.
