Dr. Lillian Glass@drlillianglassFollow Follow @drlillianglassMoreO'Rourke's laughter is called duping delight. It reflects his real intention- excitement at having the national platform as he's focused on his media facetime, not on the massacred individuals or there...
Since the awful massacre in his hometown of El Paso (which left 22 people dead), Beto O'Rourke has taken it upon himself to outdo everyone in blame-scaping and virtue-signaling at President Trump:“This cannot be open for debate [the president is a white nationalist] and you as well as I have a responsibility to call that out to make sure the American people understand what is being done in their name.... He does not even pretend to respect our differences or to understand that we are all created equal. He is saying some people are inherently defective or dangerous. …“Let’s be very clear about what is causing this and who the president is. He is an open avowed racist and he’s encouraging more racism in this country.”
And then this morning, speaking to reporters after a "Morning of Remembrance" memorial at El Dorado High School in El Paso, WaPo's Jenna Johnson reports that:"Beto O’Rourke tells reporters he will not go to the Iowa State Fair this weekend."O’Rourke had been scheduled to appear Friday at the Des Moines Register Soapbox, which gives all major presidential candidates a platform for 20 minutes each at the state fair. And, when asked if he would consider running for Senate again:"O’Rourke says he’s not thinking about politics right now."All of which, with polls declining and unwilling to say when he’ll return to the campaign trail, one has to wonder, is Beto done?
