Aslan's comment is equivocal: the "evil, racist scourge (that) must be eradicated" could refer to "white nationalism"; or it could refer to ALL Trump supporters. So, politics aside, Twitter at least arguably split the hair in the direction of giving him a reasonable break.

But change "The President" and "white nationalist terror leader" to "CNN and MSNBC hosts" and "Socialist inciters of violence" (and so on), and does any sane informed person believe Tritter would have split the hair in the same direction?

Yeah, not going to take seriously someone who ate human brains are part of a CNN report. That's all kinds of crazy right there.
