Limbaugh on WMD / Rove
« on: October 18, 2014, 03:31:52 PM »
Did anyone else happen to catch Rush Limbaugh's rant? If so, what do you think?

Quote

RUSH: I look back on so much, so damn unnecessary.  All because a political calculation was made to not revisit something that had already been determined, that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.  I swear, I do not understand this.  How can you be a member of the Bush administration and know every day the lies that are being told, the allegations that are being made, the absolute crumbling of the integrity of the institution of the presidency that was undergoing, and not even stand up and defend it.

I have long wondered this exact thing myself.  Kinder and gentler is one thing but being doormat and punch line is another.  No more Bush, wouldn't be prudent. I would love to hear an answer to this from George W himself.

More importantly to me, Rush also talked about how Bush let the smearing of our military go unanswered.

Yes.  I think that was the most damning part of the entire rant.  I can't say he was wrong on that either, he certainly did lay out a compelling case.

The second part of the rant is here:

The 'Tea Party' needs to take over the Republican party after the election and clean house top to bottom IMHO.  I may not buy all that Rush peddles but he is right about the limp Republican hierarchy needing to be changed and conservative agendas needing to be articulated and pushed.

There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
