Thanks, DU... It was fun while it lasted.
But this was the final straw. Well, that and a single DUer who wanted to be a dick and will remain nameless.

I've got better things to do. Like wash my hair.

Good luck and all of that.

Bye.

Don't let the door hit ya on the ass.

Huh...  I wonder what led to this.  I doubt someone as prominent as this douchebag will be gone for long though.

How quickly they forget. In the plagiarism squabble that got DUmmy greenbriar tombstoned, DUmmy after DUmmy praised DUmmy mythsaje, who rivals DUmmy Pitt when it comes to long, boring, incredibly poorly written screeds.

I wonder if that has anything to do with why neither DUmmy Pitt nor DUmmy mythsaje has ever been able to support himself.

(DUmp assessment of DUmmy mythsaje would surely be affected if they knew franksolich believes him to be a DUmmy with potential. Not worth, mind you, but potential.)

Uh oh.

franksolich is not taking kindly to this.

I'll have to interrupt my gigantic literary enterprise and find out which primitives gave the "Mythsaje" primitive trouble, and in turn rip them to shreds until they curse the name of franksolich.

Assholes.

Now I know why DUmmies live in basements.....otherwise they would be subject to jump to their death at any moment.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

You're not sticking up for that schlub, are you?

I remember he called me out for criticizing his "novels" on CU.  I got a good laugh of it.  He could probably give Piers Anthony a run for his money, but its an embarrassment to call what he does "writing".

Of course I am; I've said the "Mythsaje" primitive has potential, even though the kid's reluctant to use it, and in fact wastes his energy and his hopes on things for which he has no, absolutely no, potential.

I'm confident he'll iron himself out, straighten himself out, although he seems to be taking a Hell of a long time doing it.

Hey now. I like his writing, Piers Anthony, that is.  Sure most of his books are light hearted escapist fun, but i started reading them a long time ago.  He has also written a good series on history.

It's all the fault of the omega minimo Primitive.  S/he/it was rude to the mythsaje Primitive, the $kins started that hateful Unrecommend thingy.  It was too much for the fragile feelings of MS.  S/he/it will teach them all a lesson by leaving and they'll be sorry.

Thanks for identifying the anti-"Mythsaje" primitive.

Knowledge of divisions, feuds, ruptures, partisans, warring camps, on Skins's island helps a great deal in watching and analyzing the primitives.

Who's on whose side, that sort of deal.

And who goes on franksolich's excresence list, and who stays off the list.

By the way, there's some humor in this--remember, it was the "Mythsaje" primitive who only a few days ago talked about how great Skins's island is, for getting exposure as a writer.

I frankly suggest the now-swam-away "Mythsaje" primitive register here and post his writings--his good stuff, the non-political stuff, his writings about happenings in everyday life, where his potential lies.

Not his fantasy stuff, not his political rants, but his good writing.

With a more-sophisticated, higher-brow, sort of audience such as the "Mythsaje" primitive would find here, all the sooner he would be launched in a writing career that pays.  He's not going to get that sort of evolution and improvement and enrichment from the primitives.

Again, coach shows himself to be more observant than the average person.

I've seen a lot of things written by DUmmy mythsaje, but in every case it has been either his bitter communist screechings, or his goofy, cannabis-inspired dungeons and dragons crap. Whenever I've seen him write about happenings in everyday life, he's recounting the unending setbacks and disappointments of a lifetime loser, accompanied by whiny descriptions of how his lot would be so much better under a socialist system.

If franksolich says he has potential, then somewhere in that trainwreck of a failed DUmmy life, I am sure, a tiny glimmer of hope must still flicker. But even if he finds literary success beyond his wildest dreams, it will still likely be no more than a cubicle between those of Jason Leopold and DUmmy Bill Pitt.

As much as I absolutely hate to say this (hopefully, my wife will slap me back to reality, but don't count on it), I've got to side with Coach on this one.  (Not because I'm siding with Coach--far from it!  It would be because I'm allowing a DUmper here!) In my own travels, I go to a "watering hole" that has some pretty good food too, for lunches when I'm in Albany.  One of the regulars is a (self-described) Dem partisan.  He knows I'm a conservative Republican partisan.  (Note which word comes first--conservative.)  Yet, we both know that, for the state of Noo Yawk (yes, that's deliberate) to function properly, both sides have to compromise on things.  Thing is, neither side wants to.  If mythsaje feels that he can get his non-political writings out through using CC, then so be it--go for it.  (I'll even read them.)  If he wants to write screeds that would make William "Rivers of Vodka" Pitt (it's a jab, so relax) jealous, I'd want him or her to go to somewhere else.
