Oooooooops.

Whats next?  Will a fully functional and operational Seawolf class sub turn up missing too, or how about a brand-new, right off the assembly line B-2?

Yeah, It was bad enough when we were going to sell them the rope to hang us with .....now this
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Forgive my ignorance here, but when they say in the story that this stuff isn't lost, it just isn't where it's supposed to be, isn't that like me saying I didn't lose my socks, they were just in the silverware drawer?

Then is becomes a question of who is putting the stuff in these random places?

It may as well have been lost since no one really knew where it was.

Gen LeMay is probably rolling over in his grave knowing what has become of his offspring [Strategic Air Command].  Had this happened anytimg before LeMay's retirement those senior officers and NCOs would never have achieved the rank they now hold.  Chances are they would have been shown the back gate at the base in the middle of the night so no one would know.

LeMAy would have had them in Jail no questions asked. Nuclear security is nothing t obe lax about . It doesn't matter whats involved. You don't get second chances or at least you didn't used to .
