7. We didn't need Gitmo to try McVeigh
We don't need it now, either. GoBama!

That's because what McVeigh did, blowing up a building and killing hundreds of civilians, of his own country, was a criminal act.

What the AQ did, declaring war on the US, attacking various times, killing hundreds of people, concluding with 9/11, while a crime, was a war crime. The AQ picked up on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, and here in our own country, are illegal combatanants. They should be held in PWO camps until the end of hostilities, which, if AQ has it's way, will be a long long time. Those ICs who committed war crimes are being, or, were being, tried for those crimes.

Now, chimpyc*kesn*rter is gonna set them all free...and say to the islamic extremists, "Hey, sorry. Can't we all get along?"

I feel ever so much safer, already.

We didn't need Gitmo to have military trials of German spies in WWII either. (including death sentences)  :whatever:

Imagine the defense asking a soldier if he took fingerprints off the bombs and guns they found. Imagine asking if they had read them their veranda rights. If this goes to civilian courts it will be a huge joke.

McVeigh was an American citizen. Also, he thought slaughterhouses were evil and he was upset over killing a woodchuck, but laughed at the Oklahoma City Bombing.  :bird:
