Chaos in Puerto Rico as mob finds unused disaster supplies

An angry crowd in earthquake-rattled Puerto Rico stormed a warehouse Saturday after learning that it contained a stash of emergency supplies — that had been sitting untouched since Hurricane Maria slammed the island in 2017.
The chaos in the historic city of Ponce comes just one week after a 6.4 magnitude earthquake shook the island, which has yet to recover from the devastation of Maria — a category 5 hurricane that killed more than 3,000 people and left much of the country without electricity.
Word of the squandered supplies spread online Saturday after blogger Lorenzo Delgado posted a video on Facebook of locals breaking into the warehouse, which is shown to be holding cases of
It is major travesty in Puerto Rico. Supplies mean to help people following Hurricane Maria are left the rot away in a warehouse.

Just makes Trump look better and better. He told them and they wouldn’t listen.
The lengths the left is willing to go to to make Trump look bad are astounding.

The left does not even realize they are destroying themselves.

The Governor of the island canned the head of the territory's emergency services. This might've been corruption in which some official failed to find a buyer. Or it could've been gross incompetence (somebody had the stuff stored and forgot where). Or it could have been some official who played along with the MSM's and Dems' Hurricane Maria was Trump's Katrina narrative.
And just a reminder:

Angry citizens storm Puerto Rico warehouse after untouched supplies found from Hurricane Maria
President Trump was taken to task by the media for saying “corrupt or incompetent” Puerto Rico officials badly mismanaged relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Maria, but it turns out that he was on the money.
The island has been rocked by the discovery of a warehouse full of emergency supplies that have been sitting untouched since the massive storm in 2017, as an angry mob stormed the location, according to the New York Post.

Individually, each item listed was huge! Collectively ... someone deserves an infernal eternity! And the next two questions should be: How many more? Was it ineptitude, corruption, or partisan sabotage?!

There probably were some I missed, due to creative titles, but these Cave threads are based on DU threads about Hurricane Maria:

I've always thought it was sabotage. That mayor down there was getting her 15 minutes of fame, and then some.

Reminds me of Haiti;
Food is unloaded from a cargo ship at the port in Port-au-Prince, Thursday, March 6, 2008. While millions of Haitians go hungry, containers full of food are stacking up in the nation's ports because of government red tape leaving tons of beans, rice and other staples to rot under a sweltering sun or be devoured by vermin.

The same headline I read decades ago is the same today; "America's generosity goes down a rat hole..."

Nary a peep at the DUmp about this story. I wonder why? If someone did dare to post this they would probably be banned. At the very least the post would be removed.
