But I thought dissent was patriotic? Oh, that's right, that's only while someone with an R behind their name is in office.

 They can say all they want about how bad things were under BOOOOSHhitler, but he never politically attacked news agencies who didn't agree with him.  The ignorance they display in that something like this might be used against them in the future is astounding.

BHO & Co. have for years been using government delay and inefficiency to avoid accountability and consequences for their actions. This puts them on the other side of those delays. Breitbart has the option of using the courts and bureaucracy to drag this out until a change in administration might bring the hammer down on this partisan audit. And doing that would not preclude Breitbart from assembling all the data necessary to crush the IRS partisans in tax court (even kangaroos can act justly) and for evidence in civil lawsuits.

The Breitbart people may be able to turn this partisan abuse of power to use against the partisans.

Don't know if I am having a senior moment or a conspiracy theory moment but any way, here4 goes. Has anyone else ever thought that the IRS, EPA, HHS and all the other alphabet agencies have been put in place over the years by democrats(communist) to use against the general populous to gain complete control over us?

Anyone know of a way to research which party pushed for and voted most consistently for these agencies?

Off the top of my head, I think Nixon was the originator of the EPA. However, back then it really seemed necessary. The problem is that they have sided with environmentalists and ignore the realities of industrial based economies.

Not created, but as with all things government, bloated out of control and infested by power mad leftists whose intent was/is the assumption of power and control over the US economy.  The EPAs sole purpose for existence anymore is to throttle US energy production.  It's not conspiracy theory.  It's unaccountable, un-elected bureaucrats wielding power over the populace in their quest for a feudal-socialist society in total control by self-styled neo-Lords.

The best of intentions paving the road to serfdom.  Yes, Nixon created what seemed a good idea at the time.  Then, common sense became pseudo-religious dogma.  As technology and the industry itself became far more efficient and many orders of magnitude cleaner, the EPA was suddenly "out of a job".  Can't have that now can we? So, enter the enviro-leftists.

They have sided with enviro-leftists because they were infiltrated with enviro-leftists.  It doesn't matter who we elect until these bureaucrats are brought to heel.  That will be very difficult to do, if doable at all.  We took the wrong step years ago.  While we slept, they were very busy. 

The only option available to us is defunding and therein lies our problem.  You have to to have a complete Congress and a President with the will to see that through.  The ensuing lawfare would probably destroy us.  I see no easy answers.
