Title: Dry Goods: GROCERY STORE BACKPACKING FOOD | Cheap & Easy Dinner Ideas
Post by: Mr Mannn on September 16, 2021, 01:59:10 AM
These dry/prepackaged meals and sides are super cheap and store well in any pantry. As food prices go up these may be important to tide you over till next payday.

Wife is out of town for a few days.  I may have to try this for dinner one of these nights

Color me paranoid.

My daughter and I filled the Jeep Sahara (twice) with trips to Sam's Club, lined garage with shelves, ordered powdered milk, bulk rice, beans and eggs online.  Also supplies for vacuum packaging the bulk supplies. Planning a few more trips.  Goal is one years supply for 6 adults; 3 of them think we're batshit crazy.  Went to Juarez a few weeks ago and stocked up on Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, my wife’s prescription drugs and a broad assortment of antibiotics.

Portable solar generator and panels for emergency use.  10,000 gallon above ground pool for backup water.

I hope to hell that I never really need this stuff.  Anyway, with inflation roaring, the food storage will be better than money in the bank.

This is what I love to do. Mix and combine different things to make a wonderful hearty meal.
