Next time you get someone to answer your phone survey ask these two establishing questions and report the answers.

1. Is your television on?
2. Is it tuned to Fox or Newsmax?

Funny, I've never received a phone call to answer any polls, political or otherwise, and even when I've tried earning points or money on polls, the opinions of a 40+ y.o. white male are never wanted.

Between that and going looking at the details of most polls (exactly what questions are asked, how many people are asked, and the demographics), vast majority of polls are just looking to prove whatever point they want to make, not actually gauge anything. 

Reweigh that.
