Curtis Sliwa Running for Mayor of NYC

Hi guys!  Am interested in your opinion on this.

I live in the mountains of North Georgia at the moment, but I still care about the "normal" citizens that have to live there these days.

I remember well, back when Rudy  Guiliani (sp?) was in charge, cleaned up & dramatically  reduced crime in this once wonderful city.

I can't keep track of, nor even know who else is  thinking of running ...

But at the moment I think Curtis sounds like a breath of fresh air to me.

Not that I really think any Repub candidates stand a chance in hell of winning, any more damn it all!   :argh:

But it would be nice.

Drafe Hoblin:
I haven't paid attention to his political inclinations lately, because he'd basically dropped out of sight since 9/11 or so. 

He believes in 'tough love'... for the individual.  But I'm not sure he can rescue the city.  However, the bar is so low now that I think he definitely can get some positive stuff done.
