BREAKING: Carson Palmer just traded from the Bengals to the Raiders for a first rounder in next year's Draft, and a conditional first rounder in 2013. (That is, if the world doesn't end. :rotf:)

Rooting for the Bears is almost evil, but I have to to put the Pack in better position.

On a better note, we get St. Louis @ Lambeau next Sunday.  :-)

I actually have been saying since the end of Week 2 that it would be the Ravens vs. Packers in XLVI, but now with Buffalo showing they're for real, I'm not so sure.

It will either be Packers vs Ravens, Bills, or Patriots in XLVI.
It was nice of the 49ers to take the Lions down a peg.

The Packer's playing style has me on edge at times.  Green Bay at Detroit wasn't pretty last year.

Meh. We'll have to see. Minnesota is done from the start. (I can think that way, but the Pack CAN'T!) I think Ponder is going to look more like a Ryan Leaf than a John Elway against our D. They're having o-line problems as well.

I wanna cry!! :banghead: My Redskins aren't cutting it, once again. I don't know why they switched quarterbacks. Grossman has proven he can't win and Beck needs playing time. We haven't had consistency since Joe Gibb's resigned the first time, revolving doors with coaches and quarterbacks plus no depth in the front line.  :argh:  Don't know what to do!!

It's slightly possible the Skins could get Luck, but I dunno. I would wish upon the Skins that they draft a QB in the first round, and then concentrate on the O-line. That should cure what ails them. (if they dropped Shanahan though, that might really help)

On another note, my Packers are going to take out the Vikes tonight at Lambeau. Period!  :hyper:

I'll be mildly surprised if the Packers win in Detriot on Thurs. I'd take the Lions +6.

It is so hard to say because Detroit has been so inconsistent. I think it will be close but the Packers will squeak out another victory +3.

Unless Detroit totally collapses.

Looking at the Matchup stats on the NFL'11 app, the Packers have a slight edge except in defensive rushing yards. And defensive points. So yeah, Packers should win by 6 but it is Thanksgiving and it is a Detroit tradition and it is the first year in many, many years when Detroit actually has a team.

I figure the Lions will get the better of the penalty yardage too. Green Bay is due for a let down game and to win on the road in the NFL isn't easy for any team.

True enough, that. What are they on, like a 17 game winning streak? But still, I like to believe in the magic of a "perfect season" until some evil Smurfs come and steal my unicorn.

Don't you know, Odin? Lion cooked up on Thanksgiving is a wonderful meal.

Seriously though. our D has slouched a bit, but that's only because 1. Our high octane offense can take care of things. However, the defense shouldn't rely on the other 11 for everything. 2. #52 is being double, and triple covered. Without Jenkins to get some offensive heat of his own on the line, Clay is less effective. However, Mike Neal just came back Sunday. Didn't do much of anything, but he's getting back into the swing of things.

I say the Pack roll to 11-0. +3.

I'm liking the Patriots over Tebow. I'm also liking the Packers over the Girly Men. It'll be tough, but we overcome adversity, and nothing is more sad, or more worth overcoming than the recent news, and sorrow our Offensive Co-ordinator had to go through this past week. The news was heartbreaking. We've gotta win it not just for us, but for him, and his family. O a;sp ;ole tje Saomts. amd Ravems/

Girly Men? The GIANTS played the pac tough last game no? This time they are healthy and inspired. Remember 2007? I sent Tom some ointment for his cheeks in case of cold weather so they are ready!
Go Giants!

I'm a bit worried but while the Giants of today may be the Giants of 2007, the Packers of today aren't the Packers of 2007.

There is the SI curse to consider, though. Which is the same as 2007.

Yeah...Girly Men. I'm entitled to a bit of smack talk, dammit!

That's good though. You keep living in '07. (The country as a whole was sure as hell better off, but I digress) Live up those glory days. Meanwhile, we'll be heading to the 2012 NFC Championship!  :yahoo: :fuelfire:

GIANTS 34 “pickle packers” 27 and it wont be that close.

I'm pulling for the Broncos, but I don't think they'll get by the Pats, though.

BTW, Tebow was voted ESPNs favorite athlete! He deserves it.
