And the comedy of errors that is this Administration is continuing.
Liberalism Is The Philosophy Of The Stupid

I think if Hillary Clinton gets thrown under the bus, she's going to do a lot more damage to 0bama than just that, and a lot sooner than 2012.

make it a pay per view fight and the budget could be cut by quite alot.

Does this mean Obama's been thrown under his own bus?  :rotf:

"That's not the Judd Gregg that I knew".

the MSM attack against judd has begun.  his "parise" was very general, and you don't read until the last paragraph that what he expected the stimulus to look like, and the legislative disaster that was actually spewed forth by pelosi/reid, were almost complete opposites.

Quote
Gregg earlier praised stimulus

Despite citing the economic stimulus as one of the reasons behind his withdrawal to be President Obama's Commerce secretary, Judd Gregg had been saying some very nice things about the plan, even though he recused himself from voting for or against it while being considered for the Commerce post.

On Feb. 4, the day after Obama officially nominated him for the job, Gregg told CNBC's Larry Kudlow that a major stimulus plan made sense. "I think a major stimulus package ... makes a lot of sense, and the Senate is still working its will and I expect it will come up with an even stronger package than the package that left the House. If we don't get this economy going, the numbers that represent this stimulus package are going to be small compared to the loss of revenue to the federal government."

When Kudlow then asked whether the conservative Gregg had an "epiphany" on the stimulus, the New Hampshire senator responded, "I have been supportive of a very robust stimulus package from Day One. I think this economy has to have a major stimulus initiative because the only group with liquidity is the federal government."

Gregg did say in the CNBC interview, however, that he wanted the legislation to focus more on homes and homebuyers. "I have said I think we need to put more targeted effort on the real estate side, where we balance and basically look at how we control the price of real estate, so people have more confidence in the value of their home."

Here's what I don not understand: Why did Gregg not realize there would be irresolvable conflicts with Obama before now? Obama is a socialist. Gregg must have know Obama fairly well, since they were senators together.

well, BHO did go on and on about "reaching across the aisle", "changing the way things are done in washington", & etc.  and one of his five personalities is "reasonable moderate", after all.  but yes, he should have known better.

gregg is still not going to run for reelection in '10, which probably isn't good news.

Gregg was a horrible fit for the Obama cabinet...Apparently his taxes are all paid.

146 days is all and even then the fuhrer was working on his upcoming campaign.  Gregg probably never had a chance to even talk to the fuhrer when the latter was just a Senator.

Only because he knows damn good and well whoever comes out of the Dem primary (Hodes/Lynch/Nadeau) would have beaten him, mostly because of the liberal invasion, and partly because he's a slimy little shit to begin with.

Will Sununu run again?  Who knows?  Personally, I think the person who WAS going to replace him (Newman) would be a decent replacement.  If Hodes DOES win the primary, it's an excellent chance to make a nice swing in NH back to the red side.

Consider:
--He wouldn't be able to run for both the Senate and House in the same election cycle.  If the economy stays in the tank, backlash against the Democrats would likely keep him from winning a statewide election, and given his somewhat narrow margins in both his campaigns, a solid conservative candidate could take the House seat as well.  Couple that with the idiot Che-Porter getting her head handed to her, and we're back to both Reps. and a Senator back in GOP hands.
