David Bowie has died after a battle with cancer, his rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy during their time of grief," read a statement posted on the artist's official social media accounts.

That was unexpected. :(

I heard something about Bowie yesterday morning on FNC.  It wasn't this. :(

This is a very sad day in music. Bowie was one of the greats. I have been a fan since I was a kid that that was a long time ago.

Rest in Peace Major Tom. You will be missed.

Some zoo named a newborn penguin after him because the penguin hatched on Friday, his birthday.

I think he released a new album.

Not my era of music, but it's sad when some one dies so young.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

No kidding.  Woke up & heard the overnight news. Still have a CD of his greatest hits, listened to it while getting ready for work.

Very sad. RIP Mr. Bowie/Jones.

I've still got a VCR tape of the "Serious Moonlight Tour 1983" at home.  Some great stuff on that tape.

Very talented. Had some great songs in his prime. "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" is a must-have album for any rock-n-roll fan.

I danced all the time to "Let's Dance" back in the day.  God rest your rock and roll soul, Davie! :cheersmate:
