U.S. sets birth control rule for employers with religious ties

By David Morgan

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration on Friday made it final that employees of religiously affiliated, nonprofit institutions would receive insurance coverage for birth control amid mounting legal challenges to a rule in the recent healthcare law.

The White House proposed in early 2012 an arrangement that allows universities, hospitals and other employers with a religious affiliation to avoid paying directly for contraceptives. Instead, insurance companies provide coverage and foot the bill under the law.

The rule requires an institution's health insurer or third-party insurance administrator to notify employees about birth control benefits and provide beneficiaries with direct payments that cover the cost of contraceptive services.

The announcement was made by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It puts into effect a requirement that has been beset by more than a year of talks between administration officials and religious employers.

Haven't read the new rules.

But can't the government just change its mind at some time in the future?

That's the problem with giving government control.
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

Correct. Sebelius is one of those folks who never let an original thought affect her day. To borrow a line from Heartbreak Ridge, "I hear she even consults Alinsky's Rules For Radicals before she mounts her significant other, just to ensure she performs in an orderly, proficient, socialist manner." :whatever:

Ask the UN (or New York City).

Obamacare is going to be such a disaster.  Can't wait to hear from those that think it's going to be free.   :evillaugh:

It was built from the ground up before. Get rid of the leftist freeloaders and the frauds who prey upon the leftist freeloaders to build a power base, and it can be rebuilt again by the same people.

Times are way different though. Now muzzies are just waiting to take over this country, with the help of the media and dimbos and the gubmint. The first chance they see a weakness, WHAM - there goes another terrorist bomb.

What else are you going to do?

The one good thing about the Dhimmi'Bulbs collapsing the system, is that all the silly-assed rules of engagement they've tried to tie our hands with go right out the friggin' window.

Islamofascism wants to step into the US power vacuum? Shoot them first, shoot again, shoot some more and make sure they draw back a ****in' bloody stump as a consequence of their poorly constructed decision tree.

Some environmentally sensitive pansy wants to stop you from building something on your land? Bitch-slap 'em with the damned deed, and move on about your business while they cry on their butt-buddies shoulder.

Just as a heads up: in talking with cop "friends" of mine, they're being indoctrinated from the academies onward to shun "fair fight" in favor of "going home at the end of the day".  It behooves all of us to adopt the same ROE, or we'll wind up well behind the curve when the Reaper's scythe starts separating the jack-booted government thugs from those who love their country and the constitution.

Shuck off the chains that the Leftists are trying to clamp onto you, my friend.  We are on God's errand, and are entitled to the blessings associated with that.  Let them worry about how to acquire the favor from the bloody-handed gods they sacrifice fetuses to.

Islamofascism wants to step into the US power vacuum? Shoot them first, shoot again, shoot some more and make sure they draw back a ****in' bloody stump as a consequence of their poorly constructed decision tree. In most places, YOU'D be arrested.

Some environmentally sensitive pansy wants to stop you from building something on your land? Bitch-slap 'em with the damned deed, and move on about your business while they cry on their butt-buddies shoulder. The Supremes disagree with this, and YOU'LL be arrested.

CG, you're forgetting the one precondition for all that: the moonbats and marxists have already collapsed "the system". The cops will have much more immediate and pressing concerns than enforcing environmental laws, or protecting the very moose-limbs who will likely be shooting at and setting off bombs in proximity to them.

The moonbats and marxists have never understood one distinction: being able to CREATE chaos, and being able to OPERATE in chaos are not the same thing. They think that if they are the ones that create the chaos, if they just stand there and say pretty words like "order", they'll be able to rally the otherwise apathetic to their banner without breaking a sweat. Most of the folks who stand in opposition to them however are to one degree or another, accustomed to being required to perform to a necessary level of proficiency with the bangey things banging around them: people who are used to being opposed by folks who really do want them dead, as opposed to just politically defeated, and this is the monkey wrench in the moonbats' schemes which means that in no version of the chaos to come will they come out on top. They just aren't wired to function dynamically, and we are.

Stick close when the Zimmerman riots start. You won't believe the free stuff in store.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
