WE's Bouncyball post!!

WE's Bouncy Ball Post!!

I went out to lunch this afternoon and ran into "edwards people".  there were probably 5 or 6 on all four corners of a fairly major intersection downtown (which probably constitutes his entire following in Charleston) and they were holding up either the standard edwards sign, or some childishly scrawled sign saying "health care for everyone", "freedom from poverty for everyone", and (my fave) "college for everyone".  hey, everyone gets everything in an edwards administration.  it is 45 degrees today, so all of us southerners think we're on the verge of frostbite in the first place, and very cranky on that account.

I had to stand next to the guy holding the "college for everyone" (and God knows he looked like he needed it) sign long enough for the light to change to "walk", and he tried to give me a flyer.  I sneered at him, "Why is your candidate still in the race?  He has come in third in every primary for the past 5 f*cking years.  You know what you are if you lose enough times?  You're a loser."

The light changed to "walk" at the end of the exchange, and my buddy shoved me towards the crosswalk (well, actually he shoved me into the crosswalk :whatever:) before I got to the part about the candidate's sexual preferences.

. . . and it happened just that way.  :bouncy: :bouncy:

I had two Amish people come to my door today to try and sell me an Edwards t-shirt.  When I refused, they told me to "go with God".  At least I think it was "go with God".

You should slapped that plate of pie out of her hand and given her a celery stalk.

I'm pretty sure in WE's case you're supposed to use booze.  Not that that's a bad thing mind you :cheersmate:

Indeed.

Back when I was first gettting into photoshops during Kerry's 2004 abortion, I happened across cpusa.com (Communist Party USA) they were very proud of their protests in support of Mr Kerry (although the Paulistinians have since taught me that just because a group supports you doesn't necessarily mean you're one of them).
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
