Title: Gyro Sandwich
Post by: Ptarmigan on January 20, 2008, 08:25:11 PM
Gyros, the Greek dish. It is pita sandwich that is wrapped with beef or lamb, onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki, a type of cucumber yogurt. Good stuff man. I remember Jack in the Box used to serve the. They were good from a fast food joint. Too bad they don't serve them anymore.  :maddernhell: At least, there are Greek restaurants that serve them.  :rocker2:

Used to be a greek place in the mall food court, and I would get Gyros there (a hundred years ago when I was a kid!)...LOVED it.

Yeah, I could (watched Alton make a gyro thingy once, too), but it was much easier just to go up to the order window!
