Why do you think Republicans resort to just plain meanness?

Why do you think Republicans resort to just plain meanness?

Why do "ditto heads" get such enjoyment out of the belittlement of people? Why is being mean a badge of honor among Republicans? Why do they get rewarded with big book deals for calling Liberals "Traitors"? Why are people like Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh held in such high esteem, when they preach such hatreds? IMO if Republicans want to ever win in America again they need to "Get Over It". They need to learn empathy and compassion. Not the "compassion" that was a sound bite but true compassion and that seems an alien concept to most Republicans..Mean and Republican seem synonymous with each other. Has it always been that way or mainly just since Limbaugh and Gingrich made such a big splash?

Projection City from the same idiots who brought us Bush is Hitler; Chimpy; those who disagree with us are stupid; those who believe in God are dilusional; described the people working in the World Trade Center as "little Eichmanns'" calling people fascists; wishing death on conservatives like Scalia; falsely calling people racists, misogynists, homophobes, etc...; calling blacks who don't agree with them "Uncle Toms;"  and many more than I can even hope to list.

To liberals truth=mean
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

I dunno.

I'm a Republican, in fact a hard-core Republican, and nearly all--if not all--who know me in real life consider me a nice guy, one of the nicest guys one can hope to meet.

So I have no idea what this primitive's yapping about.

Me too.  I am known far and wide for being one of the most lovable SOBs on this planet.  I will help anyone who needs it.  I don't have any money because I always give it away.  I've had numerous sadsacks live in my home when they didn't have a place to go.  I am the world's babysitter.

There is no end to my sweet nature.

Because resorting to violence is still illegal, so it's the best we can do. Don't push it though. I'm personally not opposed to climbing that little obstacle under the right conditions.

DAYUM! Could they project any more?
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Hey liberals....

**** you and the horse you rode in on.

And I mean that in the nicest way.

One can get away with saying almost anything, if one smiles while saying it . . .  :-)

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

Irony

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Why do liberals resort to stupidity, treachery, ignorance, smugness, violence, and idiocy?  And then why do they whine when they get called on it?
