In all fairness, it is not hypocritical at all for most of them who might condemn this to do so. The vast majority of Pro-Choice advocates (omitting the small percentage of pseudo-Nazi population control freaks and closet eugenicists) would be just as firmly set against forced abortion as they would be for prohibiting abortion. In both cases, as they would see it, the State would be taking the right to choose the outcome of the pregnancy away from the individual. The ideological opposition of Pro-Choice and Pro-Life are not simply mirror opposites of each other, both schools value individual liberty, but they proceed from different assumptions about the beginning of human life.
