How can a person who voted for Biden in the election change their mind and now disapprove
of his performance after all that he has accomplished so far? When I make up my mind to
support someone, especially in politics, I stick with that person.
Are all these nay-sayers just fair weather friends? Or people with very short memories?
Biden was rolling with about 60% approval at first and has faded to about 40. (Not sure of the
actual numbers).
So I'll ask my fellow DUers, how many of you have changed your mind about President Biden?
Is the drop manufactured by the media? I just don't get it. :banghead:
The DUpipo are all throwing out the usual excuses: "messaging," the rightwing news media, the stupidity of the American people, he's too moderate, Russian and Chinese bots!

I don't understand either! I and my whole family voted for him, as did most of our friends. None of us are sorry that we did, and we are all happy with the direction the country is going in, although it's slow and painful thanks to stubborn Democrats and obstructive Repugs. We are especially happy to have a President who is not a constant source of embarrassment by his words and actions and who can actually complete a thought! I think that people in this country have several issues. First,they have no understanding of history; second, they have been trained to receive instant gratification because of access to wealth and to all that wealth can bring; third, Americans think our country is the center of the universe; fourth, not many have a real understanding of the fact that rights we do have living in a society are limited. These are just my observations after 75 years of life and having been a history teacher.
In what alternative universe do you reside when you think BIDEN isn't a huge embarrassment? Say what you want about Trump, he never let fly a long, wet fart in front of the Duchess of Cornwall!

Let me help you out, DUmmies. Joementia ran as a moderate, and is now embracing the most far-left positions of Bernie Sanders and "the squad." Whether you like it or not, the American electorate is just not on board with scrapping capitalism, imposing punitive taxes on the producers, and redistributing our wealth. Then there is immigration, inflation, gas prices, the appointment of commies, tokens, and failures, and covid. Remember that he was going to "shut down the virus?" How's that working out for you a-holes?

Ignorance is pervasive. Many people voted for Biden not because they like him or his policies, but because they disliked Trump. Now that Trump isn't president, Biden's flaws are exposed, and people who voted for him can see what a disaster he is.

I just went back and read through a second time their posts and it occurred to me that the reason they don't understand Cap'n Dementia's polls boils down to the very same reasons (in principle) they don't understand why we at CC point and laugh at how stupid they are. These things completely baffle them. Their explanations are modified versions of why they don't understand so much of everything. They try so hard to explain why, but never get it right.
