attackers/killers being overheard speaking spanish, not Creole or French, etc. I wondered then if someone, not in the US government, but a private billionaire, set this up. Why? I don't know, but there must be money, power, or resources at stake.

Not being willing to pay off the WashPost's paywall, I can't see the article. Since a white guy would probably stick out like a sore thumb over in Haiti, I suspect this supposed US citizen is not white.
