Might be a stupid question. Is there anything I need to look at when I pick up my walker?
AHCCCS is sending to a place to pick one up, but I don't know if there is anything I need to check on it to make sure it won't like fall apart on me when I walk out the door, sorta speak.
This is whole new territory for me, I don't know what to look for....
Amber has a bulky torso and short legs, remember.
Given my observations of, and experiences with, purveyors of Medicare- and Medicaid-approved equipment, somebody somewhere's going to make a mint equipping Amber.
When I needed a walker after cardiac surgery, instead of filing paperwork and waiting a couple of weeks to get one, I simply walked over to the local VFW Club and got one, at no charge to either me or the taxpayers. They had a large room full of those, that had been donated upon the expiry of members, and I was told that many VFW Clubs have the same.
