and Now, I am a cowboy
« on: September 13, 2010, 07:30:48 PM »
Got a part time job, Friday. Working for a guy that rents miniature horses (Less than 36" tall). We take 3 horses out, hook them up to a little merry-go-round and let kids ride them. The guy hired me on the recommendation of one of the girls in my Karate class. So, clearly, I'll have to do something nice for her...
First day was Saturday, Stephanie and I took the horses out to a birthday party two towns over, hardest part was getting one of the horses into the trailer. Too easy. As designed, it is a 1 day a week gig, but, his ranch is ½ from my house and there is a lot of stuff needing done around there, so, when I went to get paid today, I volunteered to do it, and tada, he's cool with that, so, if I play my cards right, this may turn in to full time.
I am a Cowboy, where is that damn Bill Engvall video, I searched and couldn't find it.

You ain't a "cowboy" until you've ridden your first bull. At best, you're a ranch hand......

Is the age/size of the bull a factor? Because, I did ride two (at once) 200 pound bulls a few years ago, not too far, but still...
If that doesn't count, how about this:

So what the heck do you call a male Buffalo?

Looking at that statue he is on, that is a male Buffalo.

Having seen bull riders for years, if given no choice but to climb on the back of a Beef Bull and any kind of Buffalo, even one 3 months old, I would choose the Beef kind.
