Sigh.
Every generation has had an "emo" crowd. They think they are so original and the first ones to feel "pain and isolation" and "no one understands me!!!". Give. Me. A. Break. Get a haircut and get a job. You'll feel better.
The 8th grader should get a job?
(just a joke).
Yeah. He should get a job.
Glenn Beck brought this up the other day; do you know how badly I (or Glenn, as well apparently) would have gotten our ass kicked by our parents if we weren't out in the neighborhood with the lawn mower offering to mow lawns (and nowadays, underbidding the illegals on all the landscaping crews)? Not only would my dad (and Glenn's) have kicked our asses out from in front of the television to get out and do our own yard work, but that little old house-bound lady's yard as well, and then sent me out to see what I could make off the other neighbors in the neighborhood.
Kick the kid's Emo ass out there and put him to work.
