CNN: "Zimmerman is Hispanic; Martin was African-American"
 
Today CNN writes about the George Zimmerman trial and describes him in the 4th paragraph as "Zimmerman is Hispanic; Martin was African-American."

I don't have a problem with this, as it balances out the many people on the Internets who call Zimmerman "white" while getting mad when someone points out he is also half Peruvian, or "Hispanic."

In the Get toe, which is predominantly inhabited by blacks and hispanics, there is no love lost between the two. Let me rephrase that. They hate each other. There's little chance of the two races forming a lasting alliance against white people. After an hour, one group would be plotting on how to eliminate the other.

Several here have noted how Latinos and blacks hate each other.  I'll just add this: When I was in HS in Tampa, the biggest fights were between Latinos and blacks.  Never saw either side use any guns.  But knives, chains, rocks, dirt, bats, planks, belts, shoes, girlfriends, fists, and feet were all fair games.

Now as to Zimmerman being convicted, will there be any Latinos on the jury?  Probably.

Yeah, they'll cry.  But even if the jury only has a few Latinos, that's all it will take.  Think OJ jury but Latino instead of black, difference being that OJ was guilty and Zimmerman isn't.
