I passed a VW Beetle on the way back from lunch today. Every panel on it was a different color. :-)

Vw's are good cars, I liked every one I've owned and there is not much chance I'll be switching car brands anytime soon.
You won't see them do that for any of the other models they have, but the factory is still cool to see and I can see quite a few things from it being put in other factories.

Anyone impressed with that technology has never been inside an IBM factory in the 70's.
-
Tourists inside a working factory? Pretty cool so long as they don't get in the way.
Achtung!
Das machine ist nicht fur geffingerpoken und mittengrabben. Ist easy poppen corken, blowen fusen und scnappen der springenwerk mit spitzensparken.

One of the big muckety-mucks at work has a Phaeton. I was less than impressed. Looked like a fancy Toyota.

I'd own one if I had the money. I don't think they sell them in Canada though.
And I'd be afraid to drive it based on what's happened to my last 3 cars.

I agree. I'm happy with all my VW's but none of them cost over 30k. I can't imagine paying 90K for a VW.

Pretty interesting marketing gimmick! Of course, that's likely needed when attempting to sell near $100k auto's, that are apparently quite limited in production.
