Seems to have been a quiet little purge lately. Lots of snickering, no-name mentions. Oddly enough it happened while the boggers were
'away'.

Thank you, mods. Things are a little less trolly 'round heah.
I'd like to start a new style of grave dancing at DU, where we don't actually name who's been voted off the island -- rather just focus on the fine work done by the mods of keeping the kitchen spotless.
It's probably more classy; plus, the recently betombstoned don't get to see their name in lights.
So, again: thanks, mods.

16. Yes, many who are gone were valued a lot. This is a shame.

They are silently gone, many of them. All their work of years disappeared. Lately without anyone noticing.

39. Yes, Nance, Jeff, and many others treated with hostility here when they post...
because they support President Obama...so much so that they rarely do post anymore. They, and many others like them, made DU what it is. Or were you thinking of someone else?
But little-balls berni remains.

32. It's Skinner's website and he gets to make the rules.
Violate them and get banned. It's that simple.
You don't like his rules, go elsewhere.
This genius doesn't quite understand the concept...

197. In reality, "free" speech only applies to a public forum. The owner of this "membership only," private site has the right to refuse service to those not wearing shoes, or anyone else who does not follow his rules. DU has a much more liberal policy, and shows more tolerance, than many on-line discussion forums.

161. No wonder the DLC'rs are dancing.
From here on they just chew on each other.
