Sogo (2,502 posts)Is Texas a "stand-your-ground" state? Asking for a friend in Texas who wants to know, 'cause she's feeling pretty threatened right now....

With the anti-women laws in Texas, I feel even more threatened.Maybe your friend should start carrying a gun everywhere she goes - that is also legal in Texas!

So, does that mean if your friend who is 7 weeks pregnantwants you to drive her to get an abortion and your repuke next door neighbor says they are going to sue you if you take her and you shoot them wouldn't that count as standing your ground because they were clearly threatening you?

Anti gun laws are anti woman. Can't think of a better equalizer than a 90 pound woman with a .45 against a 250 pound man
God made man and woman; Col. Colt made them equal.
