It is a measure of how much Trumpian insanity has been normalized that a US Senator (Johnson of Wisconsin) is actively encouraging people to ingest invermectin---a veterinary paste used to treat worms in horses!---INSTEAD of getting vaccinated AND he is still able to appear in public without being pelted with rotten eggs and overripe tomatoes.

Are the Pfizer/Moderna/J&J vaccines not experimental?  Why yes they are.

Actually, the Pfizer vaccine is officially no longer experimental for people 16 and older. The FDA biologics license means that the Pfizer vaccine is officially approved and no longer experimental.

1. Is it weird to use the word "officially" literally and correctly?  

2. I understand anti-Covid-vaxxers and anti-vaxxers well enough to know that they will continue calling Covid vaccines "experimental", not matter how untrue. Their current lie is that the Pfizer vaccine didn't really receive FDA approval and it is still being administered under Emergency Use Authorization (that latter is only true with regard to youths age 12-15).

3. Moderna has completed the submission of data for their Biologics License Application, and depending on the speed of bureaucracy could receive FDA biologics license within a month or so. Now is the summer and fall of anti-Covid-vaxxers discontent, .
