02. bobbolink, also known as the bobbling primitive, a les risibles primitive.
Oh my.
What can one say about the bobbling primitive? She's in her mid-60s, single, lives in Denver, Colorado, ostensibly out of her automobile, and ostensibly posts from a public library.
The above statistical information is from the winner herself.
There however doesn't seem to be any public or college libraries in Denver open during the middle of the night. Perhaps it's shtick, perhaps it's a put-on.
Remember, DUmmies lie. All the time, DUmmies lie.
Given her penchant for being unhappy with various apartment management, one might assume the bobbling primitive has had to live in her automobile for a couple of nights or something, when moving from one place to another.....and given the primitive propensity to stretch things, the bobbling primitive might actually imagine herself as having lived out of her automobile for, say, the past six or seven years.
As if such is really possible. Imagine this; a near-elderly woman living out of her automobile for years and years. It would seem to a person of ordinary sophistication that such sort of life would be hazardous, not least for a single older woman. Parked on various streets, summer and winter, the health would surely decline. Not to mention the odds of becoming a victim of violence and crime.
You decide; I myself suspect the bobbling primitive's been stretching things, and am sorely surprised that even the primitives haven't figured it out.

Okay, folks, that's it for the top primitives for tonight, Tuesday night.
I still have the TOP PRIMITIVE OF 2009 to go yet, and while I'm sure decent and civilized people are on the edge of their seats, I'm sure the waiting primitives are even more anxious, to learn which one of them won.
So I'll wait a day or two, to keep the primitives in suspense.

You know, I don't believe the bobbling primitive's ever been ranked this highly.
It's a sad state of affairs, though, when the Bostonian Drunkard doesn't even make a runner-up.
I wish Mr. Wiggum were around, because I need to know if I'm doing this right.

You have to assume she's the overwhelming favorite at this point.
But I'm surprised that Name Removed hasn't made an appearance. Many of the best posts in DUmp history are filed under Named Removed.

Name removed was #18 TOP PRIMITIVE OF 2009, one of the runners-up.
He even beat out the Bostonian Drunkard, but the Bostonian Drunkard got beat out a lot by a lot of primitives.
I'm still stunned that happened.

You've done an excellent job, frank! It's like having our own Derek Freeman! Your keen observations are enlightening especially when studying a group who've never left the "storm and stress" of adolescence. Sorry about the obscure anthropological reference but one does feel a little like Margaret Mead thrust into a world so foreign from the decent and civilized world we become accustomed to. One does risk anthropomorphic observations when dealing with such creatures.

Bobbolink...what can we say? I think the best link above is the one entitled "Bobbolink wants to be stimulated." If you hit only one link, hit that one. A fantastic combination of hysteria, incoherence, victimhood, aggression and sheer mental illness.
When I first came here, I made mention of a worthless BIL of mine, who was living in his car. One of you old-timers commented back, saying "You are related to Bobbolink?" This was followed by other CCers laughing, rolling on floor. I kept my eye out for Bobbolink after that.
(The BIL has managed to pull himself up by the bootstraps, and is now employed and liviing in an apartment. "Bootstraps" is the most despised word in the English language to Bobbolink.)

Yes. I think she mentioned it in a thread not long ago. No one knows how it happened. Probably just a temporary deal, until she lands another consulting contract.
