Why the Republican goal is to make more poor people.

Just as salt is more plentiful than silver, money is only valuable if it is rare.
 
The fewer people who have it, the more it's worth to those who do have it.

Therefore, if you are one of those who have it, it's in your interest to see to it that others don't have it.
 
This is why Republicans block all efforts to make things easier for the poor and middle class. This is why they oppose anything they consider to be "free money" going to those who aren't rolling in it. It's to keep the value of the dollar high.
 
Not to avoid inflation, to pump up the already bloated.

If this is what the GOP wanted then they should approve of Obama's policies.

The ultimate Repug hypocrisy is the issue of illegal immigration. The God-Guns-Abortion faction of the party howls about "those illegals" taking away their jobs, while the Real Republicans ($$$) LOVE illegal immigration because it keeps wages low.

So the (self-contradicting) argument is: leftism can't make any headway in American society because the sheeple are drunk on cheap trinkets (read: disposable income) but the sheeple should be flocking to leftism because the corporate masters are keeping them impoversihed to the point of desperation (read: sifting the mud of their thatched huts for 3 more grains of filth-encrusted rice).

I'm think, at a minimum, the reason leftism can't get any traction in the US is because they can't keep their ****ing story straight.

The US is the richest country in the world because...we want money to be rare.  


Why would Republicans want poor people?  We're the ones that actually give to charity instead of voting for "Uncle Sam taxes the rich."
