Just heard watching FOX, shots have been fired at the subway station at the Pentagon! Nothing on the internet yet, FOX says they will give more info as they get it!
Pentagon on LockDown Status!
So far all I have heard is they suspended service and no word of casualties!
ETA: okay, looks like initial reports are reporting 3 people wounded.

Two Pentagon police officers were shot at the Metro station entrance to the military complex, Pentagon spokesman Chris Layman said
The alleged gunman was also shot and in custody, he said
The trio were taken to George Washington University Hospital's emergency room, officials said.
Layman said the suspect walked up to the main entrance of the Pentagon at 6:40 p.m. and opened fire. He hit two officers. The officers fired back, and the suspect was hit. His injures are more serious.

My take this isn't a random crime. these people were targeted because they were in uniform.

I just checked CNN.com. No mention of his troother beliefs or his pro-pot stance. No big surprise there. Had he been a Tea Partier it would've been the headline. Since it turns out he was a leftist loon, well....no story here people...move along....

That author messed up. I know of no conservative that hates the military.
Details of Mr. Bedell’s case are still emerging. But writings by someone with his same name and birth date, posted on the Internet, express ill will toward the government and the armed forces and question whether Washington itself might have been behind the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
That right there is enough to paint him as a lefty.

I've belonged to a couple of messageboards that gave users the ability to self-delete all activity when they unregister themselves. Seeing as the DUmp software is really simple and highly customized I see no reason they can't blow up a user and their complete history with the touch of a button.

And it's a hell of a way to walk into a Federal obstruction of justice charge, not to mention the FBI computer forensics guys could find ANYTHING on pretty much any server should they choose to get nasty about it.

With backups and spiders archiving everything the deletion can be defended easily.

It mught be easy to defend but then again who want the charge of obstruction pointed their way. Even if they honestly deleted the content for breaking the rules DU could still have the feds after them with the track record of their minions caling for the arrest and sometimes assasination of sitting presidents. That stuff doesn't quickly go away.
