Fort Pierce police about 2:10 p.m. went to the area after a report of a fight on a school bus. The altercation was between two 16-year-old girls and involved a $12 debt for hair care services, records show.

As police separated the two involved, Epps is accused of starting to yell profanity. Told to stop, Epps said, "(Expletive) you. This is a free country."

When police asked Epps to leave, she said, "(Expletive) you (racial slur). You can't tell me what to do. Obama owns this mother(expletive)!"

Where has this anger come from lately ?????

I myself drove a school bus in the big city, 90% black, highschool kids and only had one confrontation by a student.   This girl got on the bus with an attitude and threatend me for some strange reason, at the time we had no radios to call in problems or video or monotors.

What did I do but look at my hands where I had grown out finger nails about 1"  had them painted bright red and smiled. She backed off grumbled and took a seat.   

That was then, I did bend the rules a bit, allowed the kids to play their boom boxes at low volume and told the kids, that this driver cannot drive high from second hand smoke, as long as I do not smell or see it, OPEN the firkin window.  Told them if the cops stopped us to turn off the low music and get rid of anything they do not want found on them.

I possibly had the least problem bus in the city and that includes the buses driving to the private schools, religious and all White or all Black.

No anger from my students, they respected me, and knew that any problems they caused me would get them booted to another bus driver that was a hard ass.

I had no anger, no fights or acting up for the highschool,  After they exited my bus I have no idea what happend to these kids, they may have fought each other but if they wanted to ride on my bus all was peacefull.

Anger was kept out back then, I have no idea what the drivers today with their radios, videos, and monotors do today to keep the peace.

This is not a transit city bus,  the driver of a school bus can and must set the attitude for the kids to enter and exit school each day.   Get them there feeling good and return them feeling good to an environment we cannot imagine.

When my youngest son was a teenager He did something bad and I told him I was going to spank him. He said if I did he was going to call child services....I told him go right ahead, and when they left he was going to get another spanking....needless to say he kept his hands off of the phone.

I called CPS on a neighbor before.  The father was screaming obscenities at his daughter (about three years old) and then picked her up at the armpit and dragged her to the door.  Once at the door, he gave her a huge slap on the ass.  It echoed between our buildings.  I saw the whole thing go down.  From the moment the child was "acting up" to the father ATTACKING his child.  The little girl wasn't doing anything.  His wife and him scream at their children all day long.  All you hear from that unit is "eating your ****ING food" and "shut the **** UP"  stuff like that.  It's really sad.

I just have a low tolerance for people who assault their children.  There is no need to drag a child.  The little girl was walking to her apartment WITH her parent's and her dad attacked.  It pissed me off so badly.

With that, I can understand calling CPS, that is plain abuse. I am talking about people calling them just for yelling at them, and nothing more. They weren't screaming obscenities at them, and weren't hitting them.

Never had any of this happen to ME where a child in encouraged to Nark on their parents, but I can see why this is used.

Cleaver little devise used by the German education system to weed out undesirable parents and adults that may be free thinkers.  [ 1930-1940's ]

They start with a for their own good to teach kids that the parents do love them and just need a little counseling, Kids think they are doing this telling on them to HELP the parent and some do it thinking they can now get their own way with what they want from the parents.

Turns the little ones into spies for the people with an agenda that is in no way connected to the well being of the child.

Discipline cannot be a one size fits all with kids.   Each child is different, under different influences out side the home and treated differently by age in a family unite.   To remove privileges of a 16 year old to drive the family car for a infraction of the rules cannot be compaired with taking away a bike for a few weeks from a 7 year old.

When a child is encouraged to overcome parental authority with threats of causing problems to the parents, then society is in trouble.    Kids are not stupid, they know from day one how to manipulate adults to forfull their needs
and wants.  

So when the do-gooders come along and give the kids Ammo to get their way------- out the door goes any way a parent or care giver to discipline their child.    How can a parent " teach their children well" when they face outsiders that do not care for the parents teaching or life style.  

I would never have complained about anything my parents did to me or for me. Darn to be disloyal to them would have meant being disloyal to all in my family.

 I do wonder what would have become of my 4 children had this Phyco-Babble been in place when they were growing up.  Most likely I would have had just one child as the others would never been born with me in jail for swatting a child on the diaper to keep them from jumping into a fire pit.

Mybe you should have taken your own advice when you were a school bus driver...you gave the kids permission to break the rules and how to get away with it...you are part of the problem.
