From FirearmsTruth.com (http://www.firearmstruth.com/2011/you-might-be-a-domestic-terrorist-if%E2%80%A6-no-laughing-matter):

NetworkWorld doesn’t exactly cover Second Amendment issues, as the news trade is really about LAN, WAN, VoIP and network security issues. But the trade magazine for the world of high tech computer networks had a column from the anonymous “Ms. Smith” this week titled “Ridiculous DHS: You might be a domestic terrorist if…”

It played off the “You might be a Redneck If” jokes, but noted that the AxXiom for Liberty site ran an article on training for local law enforcement and what exactly the Department of Homeland Security is looking for when it profiles for “domestic terrorists.”

At first glance this is already a conspiracy in the making. We’re reporting on an editorial in a computer trade magazine that is quoting from a conspiracy-themed blog. But more importantly, is this close to accurate? If so it is extremely concerning.

The local law enforcement official, who took the class, said based on the training he received, there are characteristics that qualify:

Expressions of libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)
Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership, holding a CCW permit)
Survivalist literature (fictional books such as “Patriots” and “One Second After” are mentioned by name)
Self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)
Fear of economic collapse (buying gold and barter items)
Religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ)
Expressed fears of Big Brother or big government
Homeschooling
Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties
Belief in a New World Order conspiracy

Now consider this, wouldn’t the ACLU be up in arms if international terrorists were profiled in such a way, such as expressing a love for Allah, belonging to a radical mosque, have religious views concerning Islam expansion? The truth is that when these issues have come up people speak out about it.

This goes back to that long winded, “who will speak up for you” speech about there being no one left when Big Brother comes for you. But the truth is that in recent years it is the law-abiding gun owners that seem to be in the cross hairs, while those with truly radical views about the direction of our country get apologies instead.

Two of them fit me perfectly, but most people probably fit at least one...

I can't get all that on my terrorist "T" shirt. What if I just put an American flag on it and "God Bless America...Winchester, Remington, S&W, etc."

Would that do?
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
