Blagojevich shooting ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

NBC hasn’t announced the cast of the next “Celebrity Apprentice,†but the New York Post grabbed a photo as shooting began on Thursday, confirming rumors that impeached Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is indeed part of the cast. Blago, you’ll recall, tried to do “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here,†but the court wouldn’t let him leave the country, so his wife, Patti, participated instead. “Celebrity Apprentice†shoots in New York; competitors win prize money for charity (perhaps his will be his own defense fund?) Blagojevich’s trial on charges of attempting to sell President Barack Obama’s former Senate seat is set for June.
