Trying to silence Rush.

My local conservative talk radio station said this morning that they are getting numerous emails and phone calls to drop Rush Limbaugh from their programming. It looks like the liberals are trying to silence him. They weren't trying to silence Ed Shultz, Bill Maher, or David Letterman when they said lude things about Sara Palin. As I said before: A liberal is only tolerant and civil to people who agree with them, they are bigots to those who don't.

Yes, I did. I also sent them an email and posted on their facebook page. I told them that if they cancel him, I will not listen to them anymore.

KFAB 1110AM in Omaha has a poll asking the listeners how the yfeel about what Rush said. The support for Rush is overwhelming compared to the ones against him.

My local talk radio station has a poll also, they are at 86% for Rush and 14% against. They said a couple of minutes ago that several stations have dropped him already. They also said that people are calling the advertisers and demanding that they stop sponsoring the station or they will lose shoppers. Those liberals just don't want to give up.

The only stations that I have heard dropping Rush so far are:

Two AM stations, WBEC 1420 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and KPUA 670 in Hilo, Hawaii,

Not exactly bastions of conservatism to begin with.

Keep in mind that Rush can be heard in both markets that were "dropped" by other radio stations. And let's face it, not every station can afford the $625,000 per year to carry the show. Many stations actually lose money because they use Rush as a "loss leader."

But they should take heed of the backlash advertisers are getting for publicly wimping out to the whackos.

I have an update for the poll my local talk radio is doing. It is 71% for Rush and 29% against. I think there are some liberals voting.

I am.  I could use a new mattress for our queen-sized bed.  Sleep Number was high on the list.  As for hacking/Net security, Mozy all of a sudden rockets to the forefront, while Carbonite sinks to the bottom.

Hey DUmmies! There is a sure fire way to get Rush and every other rightwinger of the radio, off TV, off the internet....stop trying to turn this country into a communist utopia. Return control of government to politicians with commonsense, vote for politicians that have the best interest of the country in mind, not what's in "YOUR" best interest. It's easy as pie.
