Lost America

I stumbled onto this site while researching Castle AFB, where I served back in the '80's.  The photographer has in interesting technique and makes the abandoned past look more spooky.

Teach a man to build a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life!!!!

Knowledge is half the battle.
The other half is violence!

Reminds me of the days when a cross-country trip was a twice-a-year event.  Trying different routed, back roads etc., seeing abandoned houses and cars and equipment on what seemed to be working farms or on the edges of small towns.  Good times.
