St. Loius
« on: October 05, 2014, 03:17:49 AM »
I'm having to fix most of my pictures for color and contrast problems, so I'm uploading them as they're done.  This may take a while.

The Gateway Arch is 630 feet tall.  My favorite part was taking pictures from odd angles... it's great if you enjoy vertigo.

After the arch tour, I went on a short boat ride up and down a small section of the Mississippi.  It's not that spectacular north of the Ohio River. :(

A couple of old buildings.

Just of curiosity, what compelled you to vacation in, of all places, St. Louis?

I wanted to tour the brewery.

The weather turned lousy that day and went downhill from there, so I didn't make it to Six Flags.  It went from 80s and sunny to rainy 60s and windy so I ended up going to some silly museum instead.  Kind of a letdown.

I remember in 1997 riding the arch egg with two very large women, and a baby that crapped its pants not five seconds after we got situated in the egg.  It was also during the summer.  I'll never forget that smell.

There's a reason I stayed in Illinois.

These people are serious about their baseball.  It's a little scary.

This was that ridiculous museum I visited.
