As a former fast boat guy, "No comment."  CTF 74 has it well in hand.

Granted, the water off North Korea (at least the western side) is wicked shallow (think worse than the Persian Gulf) but CSS-15 out of Guam and the deployed boats out of Pearl and SanDog have a few "port visits" to Yoko and Chinhae, I'd imagine.

It may take a full scale mutiny of the Pentagon to get Obama to act under any circumstance.

Obama has seen to it that our best military and most experienced military have been shit caned for actions that have gone on since John Paul Jones.   In their place are now the semi green leaders that are use to taking orders and not giving them.

 Crap, some of our E-8 are being released after 18 years of service, 2 years short of retirement-----Who is to fill their shoes ????

Not with Hagel in place.  Lt. Col. Peters was on Cavuto's show today raking Hagel over the coals for all the idot things he's already done as Sec. of Def., and he just took the position when? 2 weeks ago?

Ok, now 2 things I would like to question.

U.S.Fast attack boats don't have nukes. (That's a statement)

The Norks managed to place a satellite in orbit but the bird, from what I understand, was tumbling. (That's an impression)
