To cut down on the lurkers and snoopers the admin's decided to restrict the board viewing to active members only.

I don't understand.

So Cu will be "the site which cannot be named," and CC will be "the site which cannot be viewed."

Perhaps your right.  God help us if our ideals and values were to spread around the Internet.

I am sure the moonbats will take great pleasure in knowing they can shutdown a great RW site just by doing a little lurking and snooping.

This site is filled with remarkably intelligent people and I know I am not one of them.  Shutting off their words to the world, almost seems like a crime.

This site came into being because of emotions.  Looks like they still rule.

That is not the case at all. It is not meant to stifle the thoughts of CC members. And you are 100% correct in your assessment, we have some of the best and brightest posting a lot of quality stuff here. This site is not "shut down". That's a bit of an overstatement.

The Admin team/board owners of CC are actively involved and are doing everything they can to make CC a success. As a moderator, I have confidence in their abilities and I know that decisions like this are made after a lot of thought and planning.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

You do realize what yesterday was, right? Also, "CU, being the site than cannot be named"? Huh? Where did you read that rule here?
