Can we get a new forum about cops gone wrong

Seems to me that the very people we depend on to help us have gone amok.

Every town in America has story's of the the police going over board with their authority.

Whats with this, any one out there have a situition in their home town that has the police tasering elder citizens, or people that had no idea what was goiing on ?

Moved to a more appropriate forum.....

Title edited for clarity......

The issue of a new subforum on this topic will be taken under advisement.

Nothing new about some cops being bad. It has always been that way. But remember for every bad cop, there are probably 100 or more good ones. Like I've said a million times, you never see the good that cops do on the news.

And I don't care for there to be a bash cops forum here. Of course, my opinion may not matter, but there it is. If I wanted that, I could visit DU any day of the week to get my fill.

Throwing a brick threw the back window of a empty car with an Obama sticker.

Actually I have thankfully never met a bad cop.  We don't publicize the good guys only the bad.

I was reading about a good cop that had a partner that drove him nuts.  His partner was a douche bag from a wealthy family in town and above approach.

The problem that faces a Cop every day is to make the decision between trying to remaining uncorrupted and risk their carear or turning a blind eye to business as usual.

Having to follow the Code of Silence has run many a great Cop out of their job, it is so tragic for us civilians.

This is all ass-backwards, we need our good cops, what we do not need are the cops that lock up people for doing things they themselves do.

As in the military, we need to run the roaches that are and can become a danger to not just the comunity but place the good cops in danger.

Goes for the world of Doctors that have a drug addiction that causes patients to have the wrong leg removed.  Code of silence keeps all Doctors mum as they themselves may someday make the same mistake.

Nothing is or will be perfect in our lives, but when we wittiness a barbaric act by a Cop that just may show up at our front door---
